The mission of this organization along with straight-allies is to defend, protect, celebrate, embrace, and nurture students who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning (LGBTQIA+), or any other sexual expression. This organization also seeks to educate the Bowie State University community of the needs of students who identify as LGBTQIA+ or any other sexual expression.
Benefits are as follows: - To connect with other students with similar sexualities and/or interests - Gain knowledge of the LGBTQIA+ community and how to be an Ally - Assist in creating and running fun, educational, and community service events - Participate in BSU's Homecoming Parade - Help grow a safe space to expand across the campus
